Editing my Music Video
Editing My Video
To edit my Music Video I used Adobe Premier Pro 2017, I didn't have much experience with this programme before i started editing however i found it very easy to use and quickly learnt the basics. As you can see from the screenshot below, I had taken many shots whilst filming which gave me a large range and variety to use, therefore the first step was to select those i thought were the best and was most likely to use, I got rid of many shots that were too short or were not of good enough quality. I then imported these onto Premier Pro and started editing. On the right of the screenshots taken from Premier Pro you can see the many filters ad effects it offers, these are very useful for fading shots to a black screen ( something I did occasionally) as it adds to the atmosphere/feel of the song and helps portray the meaning on the lyrics visually. I also used the internet for further research on techniques such as changing the speed of shots( ie slow motion) which helped broaden my skills on Premier Pro
